Terms of service
By using our platform you agree to these terms.
Last updated: March 26, 2026. By using Recovery Exchange, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance and use of the service
Recovery Exchange provides a platform that connects posters (dealers, traders, individuals) with transporters for vehicle collection and delivery. By registering and using the service, you agree to these terms and to use the platform lawfully and in line with any applicable account type (poster, transporter, fleet, driver).
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your account details up to date. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or for other legitimate reasons.
3. Posters and jobs
Posters are responsible for the accuracy of job details (locations, vehicle information, instructions). When you assign a transporter and pay, you agree to the agreed price and our commission. Refunds and disputes are handled in line with our policies and applicable law.
4. Transporters and performance
Transporters must hold any licences and insurance required to perform transport work. You are responsible for completing assigned jobs in line with the job description and for providing proof of delivery. Subscription fees are due according to your plan; failure to pay may result in loss of access to jobs.
5. Payments and fees
Fees (commission, subscriptions, add-ons) are as displayed at the time of use. Payment terms are set out in the billing area and in any emails we send. We use third-party payment providers (e.g. Stripe); their terms also apply to payment processing. Chargebacks and disputes may lead to account restriction while resolved.
6. Prohibited conduct
You must not use the platform for illegal activity, to misrepresent yourself or a job, to harass others, or to circumvent fees or security. You must not scrape, reverse-engineer or misuse the service. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts for prohibited conduct.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The platform is provided “as is”. We facilitate connections between posters and transporters; we do not guarantee the quality, safety or outcome of any job. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited as set out in our policies and applicable law. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
8. Changes to terms
We may change these terms. We will post updated terms on this page and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service.
9. General
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If any part of these terms is held invalid, the rest remains in effect.
